Perianne Boring is the founder and president of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, the world’s largest trade association representing the blockchain industry. Perianne sits on the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD’s) blockchain expert policy advisory board. She was named among “America’s Top 50 Women in Tech” by Forbes and among the top “10 Most Influential People in Blockchain” by CoinDesk. Prior to forming the Chamber, Perianne was a television host and anchor of an international finance program that aired in more than 100 countries to over 650 million viewers. She began her career as a legislative analyst in the U.S. House of Representatives, advising on finance, economics, tax and healthcare policy. Perianne is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in business administration and economics. Raised in Florida, she currently resides in Washington, DC.
